About Staidwell.
Performance or brand was always a false choice. Staidwell exists because ecommerce brands shouldn't have to pick between messages that sell and messages that sound like them.
Our philosophy
Most retention work treats customers as a list to be worked. We think of them as relationships a brand has already started, and our job is to keep them going.
That means knowing the customer journey before touching the software, writing like the brand rather than like an agency, and measuring success in whether people come back, not in how many emails went out.
Beliefs
What we believe.
01
The second order matters most
A customer who buys twice is far more likely to buy a third time. Most of our attention goes to making that second order happen.
02
Channels are not the product
Email and SMS are how the message travels. The product is a customer who keeps choosing you.
03
Your list is an audience
People gave you their inbox. Every send should be worth opening, or it shouldn't go out.
04
Brand is a performance lever
Recognisable, consistent communication builds the trust that makes people buy again.
The team
Small, on purpose.
Staidwell is a small team today. The people who plan your retention are the people who build it, which means nothing gets lost between a strategy deck and what actually lands in your customers' inboxes.
We work in Klaviyo, Shopify and Figma, and we keep our processes documented so the quality holds as we grow.
What we won't do
- Won't: 01Send more emails to hit this month's number and burn your list for next quarter.
- Won't: 02Train your customers to wait for a discount.
- Won't: 03Report open rates as if they were revenue.
- Won't: 04Use templates that make your brand sound like everyone else's.
The audit
Let's talk about your customers.
